Ian Taylor – Associate, Scotland

Ian Taylor is a Parish Minister with the Church of Scotland serving in Bishopbriggs, Glasgow since 2006 and before that a city centre Parish Minister in Stirling for 11 years. Since his ordination 25 years ago Ian has maintained an interest and commitment to education, training and formation for ministry having supervised students and colleagues for many of the ministries of the Church. Since 2010 he has been involved in pastoral supervision through the development and delivery of the Church of Scotland Supervisors training programme. He is an ASCEND supervisor for the Church with experience of individual and Group supervision.

He is motivated by a desire to make a difference in the work practice and lives of those whom he supervises. This ‘super vision’ will hopefully benefit both the supervisee and those with whom they work. As a Christian minister there is a theological dimension to his supervisory work.
